I behov av förändring! Ungefär på samma sätt som när jag är i akut behov av att möblera om har jag nu kommit till en punkt när det är dags för en ny blogg. Dags att avsluta det som den här bloggen gett mig; att skriva av mig och samtidigt dela tankar och händelser med er som läst den under de här åren.

Yesterday I listened to Anders Haglund at an inspirational day arranged by Forever. He calls himself a "success-coach" and gave me a lot of things to think about.

"There is no stupid people – there is only people being in stupid states of mind"

Your state of mind tells if you are brilliant or acts like a fool. In a scale from 0 to 10, in what state of mind are you? In a bad one or at your best? In a calm one or very active? He talked about to find and to use your best resources as fast as possible, according to what situation you are in of course. He means that you can make an active choice how to feel and be, in a certain moment. One way of changing your state of mind is to listen to your inner voice and how it speaks to you. If it is a boring, lazy, negative voice you’re probably not gonna be at your best state of mind. Try instead to, even if it seams ridiculous, talk to yourself in a happy and energetic voice and your whole being changes. I tried this monday morning and it worked! Of coarse if you want to calm yourself down, make the voice slower, comforting and relaxing.

He gave us the recepie of success and happiness:

1)      Relationships

2)      Good health

3)      Goals – something each day to look forward to

4)      Money

Then he had a discussion and asked us if we in school ever learned how to succeed in these areas? The answer was no. The only thing we learned was roughly to sit still, be quiet and learn to remember certain names of people and things. These qualifications, he said, was very useful working in an industry but today we need other qualities. The most interesting part of this is, what we need to do now is to try to figure out what our children need to learn to cope with and be successful and happy in the society of tomorrow…?

Some other thing to really think about is this. He talked about what primary things the body needs to function. This we also learned in school

1)      Oxygen (can survive without it for 3-5 minutes)

2)      Water (can survive without it for about 5 days depending on what we do)

3)      Food (can survive without it for a few months)

So, to have good health he gave us this recepie:

First, breath in a controlled way for 5-10 minutes and/or go out for a walk or run.

Second, drink as much water you need 'til you don't feel thirsty anymore, at least 5 dl.

Third, eat.

If you do this at breakfast, lunch and dinner he said that you will have more energy, sleep better and get to your ideal weight. Today I tried it and it feels really good! For me it makes sense, especially to try the more cheaply and healthy way of breathing and drinking water, before eating that chocolate-bar I don’t really need or take aspirin for the headache. And in fact, after breathing and drinking, the chocolate wasn’t that needed anymore...

Jaha, så har jag gjort saft för första gången i mitt liv! Imorgon är det provsmakning som gäller. Citron och mynta, det lät gott, luktade gott och var enkelt att göra. Förundras bara över att det ska vara så mycket socker i all saft men förstår ju att det är för att den ska hålla sig längre. Ändå gillar jag det inte riktigt...

First - it is still quite weird to blog in english, but I am now getting more and more used to it. I wonder if I some day are gonna write in dutch?

I have spent the whole day by myself. Woke up early (as usual), hade some nice fruit-salad for my first breakfast before starting to bake some bread. A few days ago Lode wrote about habits on his blog. Today I've found myself observing how I since he left are going back to old habits, living alone again. Both habits I like and some I can live without, more about that som other time maybe. It came to my mind that this bread I baked was to feed me alone, something that was normal not more than like four months ago. When Lode gets back to Holland I will bake again and sent some! When I uploaded the photos I saw that the bread looked just like the Yip Yip - aliens! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z_trSIBCgF0

It is nice to follow Lode from a distance, even if I'd rather be there with him. Today he texted me and described what he saw on the last part of his travel to France. I who never had any needs or wants to go abroad suddenly gets new inspiration!

Well, it is getting time to go to bed. Tomorrow everything will be back to normal at work, looking forward to that!

The air is easier to breath today. Holding on to the pink wheel around my neck, walking around in the apartment and trying to create some beauty out of the mess. Slowly. Things needs to be done, one step at the time.

Calming to hear and see him again, even if he is several kilometers away.

And just to remember, at least we are under the same sky again!
